Building Healthy and Resilient Communities

LNG Canada is deeply committed to supporting community health by investing in various initiatives that promote well-being and support access to healthcare. We work closely with local communities to identify health priorities and collaborate with healthcare providers to fund programs and services that address these needs.

As part of its ongoing commitment to community health, LNG Canada partnered with the Kitimat General Hospital Foundation to provide funding towards an electrocardiogram (ECG) machine in Kitimat, a critical addition to the hospital’s medical equipment. This donation will significantly enhance the hospital’s ability to provide timely and accurate care to local residents. By equipping healthcare providers with advanced diagnostic tools, LNG Canada supports the hospital’s efforts to enhance efficiency and minimize delays while creating a better work environment for staff.

In addition to its support for the Kitimat General Hospital, LNG Canada partnered with the Dr. REM Lee Hospital Foundation to donate a Pegasus Dual Retort Processor to the Ksyen Regional Hospital in Terrace. The advanced retort processor is an essential piece of equipment that will enhance the hospital’s ability to process a higher number of tissue samples locally.

This tissue processor also has a built-in reagent management system that has resulted in higher quality tissue processing which, in turn, ensures a quality diagnosis.”
