Community Notification: Planned Flaring

LNG Canada advises that planned flaring is scheduled to occur between July 9 and July 13, with an expected flare height of approximately 10 to 20 metres. Associated noise and visible emissions may occur during this period.

Flaring is a provincially regulated safety measure that ensures the controlled, efficient combustion of natural gas during specific operational phases. It is a critical part of safely operating a facility of this scale and is not expected to be routine during regular operation.
