Community Notification: Planned Flaring
Share
LNG Canada advises that a planned flaring event will begin between May 5th and 7th and will result in intermittent flaring for approximately 12 – 24 hours with a flare height of approximately 15 – 30 metres.
Flaring is a provincially regulated safety measure that ensures the controlled, efficient combustion of natural gas during specific operational phases. It is a critical part of safely operating a facility of this scale and is not expected to be routine during regular operation.
