The vehicle replaces the previous truck that was purchased in 1993. This vehicle was ordered in 2018 and was set to arrive in 2020, as part of the 2020 budget. The vehicle’s cost was $760,000, with $500,000 coming from LNG Canada and the remainder from the City’s Machinery and Equipment Reserve Fund.
