Haisla Nation: seeing transformation in the community

We recognize the role we can play in advancing economic reconciliation, and reconciliation as a whole. We’re committed to ensuring that benefits from our project flow to local and Indigenous communities, across B.C. and Canada; to date, more than $2 billion in contracts have been awarded to Indigenous and local community businesses.

Recently, we had a chance to speak with Chief Councillor Crystal Smith and other Haisla Nation members, and heard how their community has thrived since we moved into construction.
