LNG Canada’s statement in response to the conclusion of negotiations between Wet’suwet’en hereditary chiefs and government representatives

Share

For LNG Canada’s part, we are encouraged to see the progress made by the federal and provincial governments and the Wet’suwet’en hereditary chiefs and want to thank all parties involved for taking the time to engage in dialogue and discussion. We also want to acknowledge the support of the elected and hereditary leadership spanning 20 First Nations along the pipeline route, and the many other communities and individuals who have been engaged with this project since its inception. We look forward to building a project that will deliver significant benefits for Indigenous communities, British Columbians and Canadians.
