The Path to First Cargo

After years of careful planning, robust community engagement, and safe construction involving more than 40,000 Canadians, the first phase of LNG Canada is nearing completion in Kitimat, in the traditional territory of the Haisla Nation.

With first cargoes on the near horizon, we thought we’d share some highlights of our work since our successful final investment decision. We’re proud to be at the forefront of a new Canadian industry offering competitive, secure, and reliable sources of lower-carbon energy to the world, and to be delivering substantial benefits and resources to local communities.
