Night Shift at Terminal A

Share

Piling activity continues on the construction of a new wharf at Rio Tinto.

LNG Canada is constructing the wharf in exchange for use of Rio Tinto’s Terminal B, which is the location of our future LNG export terminal. An important part of our construction activities is to ensure the structures we build have a strong foundation. Piling prevents the risk of any future ground movement and distributes the weight of the structure evenly.

Piling will occur intermittently between 7 am and 10 pm, daily. Area residents may hear limited noise from the activity.

We ask pedestrians and mariners to maintain a safe distance.
